Well, if I'm going to be your big sis, I guess it would help if you knew a little about me, huh? Let's see...
I grew up in the wonderful (though very small) mountain town of Pine Mountain Club, CA.
For those of you California residents, that's near Frazier Park on the Grapevine between L.A. and Bakersfield. I graduated from Frazier Mountain High School in '98 and The Master's College in '02 (I know, I'm OLD!). I have a wonderful family (though growing up I didn't always think so)—Dad, Mom, three older brothers and a little sis. In high school I did it all: three sports, ASB, youth group...I was even a Mathlete for a year (mostly because they got out of school for a lot of meets, and there were always chocolate chip cookies involved!). But being involved in so much wore me out! So in college I took a different approach. I played volleyball for a year, and then took to rock climbing and travelling. I did a semester in Israel and a semester in Central America.
Then he came along.
Paco swept me right off my feet before I knew what hit me.
I've been married to my "match made in heaven" for nine years, and we have two adorable little girls, Ryan Kailey and Logan Cassidy. The cutest little girls in the whole world-- no bias, of course.
Paco and I love the outdoors, which makes our current home (Denver, Colorado) perfect for us. We love exploring the Front Range, which rises up to the west of our home. Paco is the Communications Director at Colorado Community Church, and I write from home. Life is good, because God is good.
I guess that's all the pertinent information. Some not-so-relevant (and not even that interesting) facts: I love artichokes with lemon and butter, wear a size 10 shoe, dream of travelling to New Zealand with my family, and can't imagine life without popcorn.
If there's anything else you'd like to know about me (within reason!), ask away!
Love,
